Dianthus monspessulanus is commonly known as 'The fringed pink'.

It is rarely seen these days but it has beautiful pale lavender or pink heavily scented deep fringed petals.

It grows 30cm/12".

Flowers June until Autumn.

Dianthus love to be planted in free draining alkaline soils in a nice sunny spot.
