Dianthus nardiformis is more commonly known as the Dobrogea Carnation. It originates from the Bulgaria / Romania region. 

Dianthus nardiformis has purplish-rose flowers with a slightly pale throat and the flowers sit well above the blue-green foliage

Flowers early summer onwards.

Grows 15cm / 6" tall. It is ideal for rock gardens and alpine troughs.

Dianthus love to be planted in free draining alkaline soils in a nice sunny spot.
