Armeria is commonly known as 'Sea Thrift'. 'Rubiflora' has grass like leaves and the flowers are a deep pink pom pom shape.

Armeria are native to seaside cliffs, and are hardy perennials. Hardy to -23°C (-10°F) in Europe.
